    Re: glass headlights

no the car is a 99 maxima with retrofitted acura tl projectors.

I cleaned on the lights some more this morning, they are starting to clean up. They are getting alot clearer. Im just really picky, so i want them to be clear.

      Re: glass headlights

Thought the Maxima's used plastic lenses? My 80-something one and my friend's two early 90's all have plastic. I just don't see glass clearing up just like that by polishing them by hand a bit with consumer products. Never seen glass headlights yellow either though...

Glad you are getting it fixed.

        Re: glass headlights

They have cleaned up really good. I ended up using #0000 steel wool and quick detailer to somewhat wet sand the lights. I then hit them with my rotorary and polishing compound. they turned out pretty well. I will keep doing this, until i get them where i want them. When i first got the lights, the housings didnt match the corners at all. 2 completely different colors. they are really close to matching now
Also the 95-96 used glass housings and the 97-99 used plastic

and for anyone that wants to see the lights, i need to aim them a little higher and even out the driver side. i am about 15 feet from the fence, pointing down at it
