  • Spray Wax or Speed Detailer, Confused....

    I after some help.

I have been using the QD that comes with the clay kit, But i have now finished the bottle.

Now i have been reading some bits on the web, And some companys QDs are just for cleaning, And other clean and add shine.

So i went to the shops today to go and have a look and to buy. So i looked the the NXT Speed Detailer and the NXT Spray Wax.

I want something to boost the shine after every wash so i am not sure which to go for. I use Dodo Lime Prime and AG Extra Gloss Protection. No matter what the car will be washed before apply.

I can only really go for them two. As i have vouchers i need to use before the expire from that shop.

    Thanks.

After a wash, you could use either NXT Spray Wax or NXT Speed Detailer.

True, just read up on application of the NXT spray wax; I've heard that it can be a bit tricky.

I have also seen a few people say it can be tricky to when it comes to buffing off.

My question really was, Whats going to give the best shine?.

NXT Spray Wax is very easy to use (apply and remove) and the results are excellent. Can you get Ultimate Spray Wax? If so I would recommend this

The BEST product to add some extra gloss, darkness, and protection to the paint is the new Ultimate Quik Wax. It is also much easier to work with than any other spray wax I have tried.

It's a truly fantastic product that does wonders for hiding defects. Just make sure you ONLY apply this to a 100% clean surface.

Thanks guys. I can only buy the two i have mentioned which is a shame, But need to use some of the vouchers up ASAP. I would always wash the car first before applying any Quick Wax or Speed Detailer.

So the best product out of the two is going to be Quick Wax for the best shine of the two?.

Well, I would try the Nxt Spray Wax I suppose.

Just be sure to spray it on a MF cloth, and apply thin.

You didnt mention which detailers were available, is the Ultimate Quick Detailer available?

Can't help you on your specific products. However The UQW gets my vote. Great product.

just remember the spray waxes are BOOSTER waxes, you still need to wax with either nxt 2.0 of gold class, they boost the shine and protect of the wax you have already applied

UQW/UQD are great products, can't comment on the NXT Spray Wax, I have Speed Detailer and it's a good product, use it here and there, it's actually my travel bottle when I'm not getting throttled to use it when traveling. I do love to stop at rest areas and hit the car with it while the misses is in the bathroom! She comes out shaking her head! But deep down, she likes it as it's her car and it looks good when it's clean and she looks good in a clean car

I cant buy any of them, Only the Speed Detailer and Spray Wax.

I think i might buy the two, As they have an offer on 3 for 2, And i want some more car wash.

Once i wash the car ( i do this everytime), Do i use the spray wax then the detailer?. Or the other way around.
