  • SwilrX powdering problem

Its my first time using SwirlX.
I'm using it on a cool paint and the car is in a shade, however its quite hot today: 75 degrees and a bit windy. The problem is SwirlX in just few seconds after putting a foam pad on a paint starts to dry and powder. The results are really bad because it doesnt remove swirls but gives me lots of another one! Whats going on? I have never had such a problem with other Megs cleaners
What should I do make it right?

Which foam pad do you use and how much product do you apply on it?

Regular soft foam pad for hand work. I put similar amount of product as I used before with other Megs cleaners like DC1 or BodyScrub.
Actually, I think I've found the reason of drying and powdering of SwirlX: weather conditions. I've waited few hours till it cooled down a bit and then was much better. Has anyone experienced such a issue?

Anyway, I noticed SwirlX has made some very, very smooth swirls on my paint, but followed with BodyScrub the finish was ready for DC2 and GC Wax.

Well, it seems MDAT is better for me than SMAT

Well, it is cercatinly posisble that different product will work for different people.

For in the future, you can try applying SiwlrX with more passion at first, and then lighter at the end.

As for the powdering, you may also have been working, spreading the product across too large of an area.
