Thrush or Cherry Bomb??

This may not belong here so if it needs to moved I understand..Here's the ?, I have a 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 needs a muffler. Thrush Turbo or Cherry Bomb which is quieter?? Cat still intact..

I kinda wanted to ask about this too. Cherry bomb or flowmaster for my Cutlass? Which one is less obnoxious? Cat is coming off.

If memory serves Thrush was always a little quieter.


And Flow Master has a different sound all together

This is better suited in the Break Room since it has nothing to do with detailing.

Thrush Turbo will be quieter than the Cherry Bomb. For the 4.0, I would go with the Thrush Turbo, unless you like the obnoxious sound a 6 cylinder makes with a "performance" muffler.

When you say 'Cherry Bombs',are you talking about a universal fitting that was originaly created for bikes? They're quite noisy.
What if you did a search on youtube? I think there are loads of videos with cars that have the sound of a particular exhaust. Maybe give you an idea?

If it's just a tailpipe...Magnaflow is top quality stuff. I don't think it'll be too noisy,but will have a nice sound...Stainless aswell.

Cherry bomb makes a replacement type muffler as does Magnaflow , as well as Cat back systems.

I also believe the cherrybomb will be louder. Go with the Thrush.
