Westley's Bleche-Wite is def the best but be careful with it! don't inhale the stuff!!! also if it gets on your hands wash it off with water and soap afterwords!

Westley's Bleche-Wite Tire cleaner, made for blackwall and whitewall tires.
Stuff is like $3.50 for a large spray bottle, and can be had from any local auto store.

I have APC and APC+, but even at their strong dilutions, I don't find them effective enough at cutting away the nastiness.

I know what your talking about. Tire Gels tend to leave a sticky film on the tires that you cannot get off by scrubbing, it just kind of moves it around and smears it more. This is usually from using too much product...

It has happened to me before, I haven't found a solution for it yet either.

I use Wesley's Bleche White, Super Degreaser, and APC for tires.

When I am degereasing dirty tires I usually dont bother with the APC's to much. I use Super Degreaser and lots of caution to avoid spraying the wheels or paint.

A while back I cleaned up a muddin truck and used Super Degreaser undiluted on the tires. Worked really well.

I use APC or APC+ and it works fine. As mentioned above Super Degreaser?

I also would recommend APC+, this can removed it very good. Also if you don't have APC+ and would like to try something that you could I would try Dawn (dish soap), I've used it and has done the job pretty good.

APC+ 4:1 is what I use and typically you can see the "brown" just rolling off.

I was thinking APC also. How diluted are you using it?

The APC's are my usual choice.

What kind of dressing is it?
