Looking for the detailing shop in Parsippany NJ? I saw it posted in the forum and tried seaching but couldn't find it. I also tried the dealer locator page. Looking to try some of the detailer line.

I am looking to pick up a Detailer Line Sampler Kit?

Could I get this online for less or with discount for being a member?

Thanks Mike, there are a few places that are closer. I actually live in Middletown, NJ with Red Bank, NJ Mailing address. But the thing is, They don't stock anything. I bought a few products through Napa Auto and had to wait a week or so, and got a few foam pads at finishmasters in Shrewsbury. Finishmasters said I used to stock all Meguiar's, But now I carry the presta line? Is Pal automotive a Meguiar's distributor? Is it possible I waited a week or more when I could of drove 30-35 minutes?

I'm sure Pal Automotive stocks Meguiar's professional line and detailer line. I believe piscataway is about 30 minutes away from me.

PS. Now I have to figure out what to get! I'm sure I will be overwhelmed when i walk in Pal automotive.

EDIT: I called Pal's and they do not carry the detailer line sample kit? should i order it on line? where?

If I take a trip to Pal's what should I get because I can't afford, to buy gallons of everything. I need the products for the following:

-clean wheels and tires
-clean wheel wells
-clean and protect plastic moldings
-clean and protect rubber seals
-clean and protect vinyl/plastic interior
-engine degreaser and dressing.

I was looking to try APC and hyper dressing, but was unsure of what degreaser to use in the detail line for the above.

I am always running out of this stuff, and those $7.00 bottles add up! I know the detail line will do a great job and save me money. I am just getting started in detailing, and plan on doing a few cars here and there so this stuff should last me awhile. Thanks

Hi Ed,

Yes PAL is a distributor of Meguiar's Products. In the past, our very own Rod Kraft has conducted detailing classes in partnership with Pal. I'm sure they will be doing more in the future so keep you eye out for announcements here.

Thanks Mike, with all the stuff you do, I sometimes think there is more then one Mike Phillips around here.

Mike any suggestions for the cleaners I need? or a link? I couldn't find anything.

The sample kit looks like a good deal, I could try everthing out, see what I like, and I get the color coded spray bottles. I then could buy gallons of what I like and refill the sprayers as I need to.

I can't afford to buy gallons of everything.

I can't speak more highly of Mark at PAL Automotive. He really did an outstanding job setting up the seminar this past summer. His store is quite outstanding as well, any detailing enthusiast in Jersey ought to make the trip there. You will not be disappointed at all the eye candy there!

Pal Automotive has a very nice selection of the Meguiars compounds and polishes too. Mark told me he plans to stock the new brushes coming out so it will be a great local place to see the new Meguiars products in person not to mention many other products as well.

Oh yeah, I've been washing with NXT wash via foam gun. You can get both of those at Pal too

Bill D, Foam gun? This sound Very Fun to use. I never even saw one of these any links? Could I use this on my garden hose and presure washer with other cleaners and soaps? What are the advantages of using this?
