    It will be like anything else. Everybody will think it's ruining the country, we will take a step backwards, then SCIENCE will prevail and it will in the end be better.

    I.E.
    Moving from carbs to EFI.

    Moving from leaded gas to unleaded.

    Adding emission controls to vehicles like Catalytic converters, EGR, O2 sensors, etc.

    Taking asbestos out of home insulation and other products.

    And lets not forget that while the era of VOC laws getting tighter we lost #16..........but we also gained M105, M205, NXT, D155, M21, etc.



    All of the above caused a downturn to their particular field for one reason or another. All of the above also made our lives better. All of the new versions of these products are FAR better than what we used to have and never would have happened without some sort of *push* from Uncle Sam.
