  • New Scion With Damaged Paint

About two weeks ago I purchased a new 2009 Scion. I found out the vehicle was previously driven 77 miles through a metro area (including highways with construction zones) to the selling dealer. Recently I gave it a good first washing and found some small rock chips on rear and front bumper and the clear coat around the door handles and indentations is badly scratched. Is there a typical approach to work on these areas of damage.

just a heads up, paint on the first gen was horrible, lots of stone chips, premature rust spots, just very bad. don't know if they made improvement in gen2 but better take care of it. I'm with an '06 and I know next year a new paintjob is waiting for me.
