  • Hazing after drying vehicle

Hi, I'm new to the forum. My name is Richard
    I have a Jerez Black BMW M3.
I have been having problem with hazing on my car.
The hazing is only visible when another car shines their light on my car body e.g. on the door panel.
I sort of discover that that the hazing is caused by me wiping water off the car.
The car looks fine when it comes back from the detailer. But when I wash it myself and wipe it down it causes hazing. I've tried alot of different cloth but hazing still exist!
Any idea how do I prevent it? Or is it possible the water is hard or I' not using enough shampoo?
    Appreciate any help at all.

You should be able to see this in sunlight aswell.

We have no idea of what your detailer's methods are and what products he is using.

Stick with good quality microfibres, like the supreme shine MF's.For drying, the Water Magnets are excellent.

Hard water is common and doesn't cause hazing, but if left to dry leaves difficult to remove spots.Especially noticable on dark colored cars. The shampoo has a recommended dosage.

Firstly, can you tell us what products you have or are using. Then we can help you out. After that you can detail it yourself, eliminating the third party and makes things simpler.

How do you wash and dry your drying towels? If you use ANY type of fabric softener or drying sheets...that could also be the source of your hazing.

          Hi

I use NXT Shampoo with a lamb mitt. 2 bucket of water.
For drying, I use a microfiber towel - which was new.

If I were to guess, could it be

          1. The Jerez Black Paint is just too soft?
          2. I have hard water in my area?
