Is one better than the other or is one for a certain stage in the process? One for polish one for wax?? Getting ready to place a order with meguiarsdirect and want to get both if needed.

Most of us here do not use Microfiber Applicator Pads for applying any sort of cleaner, polish, or wax. The best product for application of cleaner, polish, wax is the foam applicator.
After you have applied your cleaner, polish, or wax with a foam applicator, you would use a Supreme Shine Microfiber Towel to wipe off the product.
You may use microfiber applicator pads for leather or interior detailing. For paint, you would want to use foam pads. -

thank you very much. makes much much cents. Another quick ?? I started detailing my charger this weekend and got called into work. I washed it clayed and used some colorX on it and had to go to work. Good bad any issues if I cant get tech2.0 till tomorrow?Comment

For Polishing, Compounding: Microfiber/Terry Cloth Applicators
For Wax, Dressings, Protectants, etc: Foam Applicators
Reason:
Terry and MF materials have more "bite" or aggressiveness. Therefore better for polishing and cutting into the surface with the product.
Foam Applicators are much more gentle and are made for things that just need to be applied to the surface, not worked into it-like a polish.
So for applying Leather Conditioner, Vinyl/Rubber Protectant, Wax, etc. Use a Foam Applicator!
Before Considering Meguiars Direct, Visit Auto Detailing Solutions. They have lower prices, great shipping, Samples, etc. Much better choice in my opinion, that is where I order ALL of my products from!
