  • Keep UQD in trunk

In the video it mentions that it would be a good idea to keep some in your trunk. It sounds great but I live in South Florida and it gets very hot and humid. Is it still OK to keep it in the trunk? will it go bad quicker? If so how long will it last there during the spring and summer months?

    Thanks

    Re: Keep UQD in trunk

I know a lot of videos say to keep it in your trunk..but it is more of a figure of speech..Basically just keep it some where in your car..I do not think it would be the best idea to put it in your trunk due to the temperature, because products have a specific range of temperature when they perform the best..Just like people who live in colder climates don't keep their detail products in their garage during the winter due to freezing.

I live in West central Florida. Unless I am going on a trip, I generally leave all my stuff in the garage. I would hate for it to reach close to boiling point lol in the car.

Would the glove compartment be cooler in temperature than the trunk?

If you have a normal sized glove compartment,it would mean laying the bottle sideways. This is never a good idea as there is always the chance that it can leak.

One other option might be to keep a bottle of the ordinary QD in the car. It's cheaper. So if it goes bad,it's no big loss.

What about those cool/thermo bags, normally used for shopping?
          I've never tried it...just a suggestion.

I keep a few ounces of Last Touch in my trunk because it's the only QD I use on a regular basis. Everything else is in the house. Since I have a dark blue car, the temps get up there in So Cal during the summer. So far I've noticed no degradation of the product

              Re: Keep UQD in trunk

I left a bottle in my car once, the thing expanded. When I got it out it felt like it was about to POP! It was in there for a few hours.

My car is white and has tinted windows.

It didn't spoil it but that bottle holds a little more fluid.

I have one in my trunk and haven't had a problem with it.
