    Hey,

I have not tried M20/M26 as a combo before, but M21/M26 is an excellent combo and it's deep shine and gloss lasts for months. I am sure results would be similar if using M20. If you are using a high quality car wash it will last a while.

But, to make it last longer! Use Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Wax to boost the shine, protection, longevity, and beading/sheeting. You definitely want to use a Spray Wax and Quik Detailer on your vehicle between Washes and Waxing.

Thanx but I would rather just wash the vehicle and not use a QD.

i have some #20 and #21 v1 so will have to check the conbos out

Would 20 topped with 26 last for 3 months?

Yes, that would probably last for 3 months.

But again, I highly recommend using Ultimate Quik Detailer and Ultimate Quik Wax.

Using a QD is different than simply washing the car. Washing will remove dirt and grime, but Quik Detailers will boost the wax, shine, protection, etc. None of that is offered from washing the car.

I don't think the 20+26 would last 3 months if you just washed it and no UQW....with UQW it should last 3 months, but I dont think the 26 will last for 3 months even with the UQW, but the 20 will still be protecting I think.

20+26 are amazing, I still use that combo, hard to tell how long it will last as there are too many variables, but they are both very good products and work very well with each other. I may add they are both super easy to use and you don't have any streaking issues.

The durability is influenced by many factors. To give a blanket statement that it will last x amount of time is difficult.

For example, is it garage kept? Daily Driver? Is it in a covered parking area, or out in a parking lot at work? These are just a few of the things that factor in when trying to determine the durability of a wax.

Another very important consideration is rain - the more you get the quicker a wax will degrade. Here in Southern California we trade rain for heat and nonstop sunshine, which may or may not be any better as far as the wax is concerned.

Three months sounds reasonable though - just pay close attention to surface slickness when washing and drying and evaluate more critically as you approach that three month point.

Keep in mind also that, even though people often discuss how long a wax will or won't last, any wax/sealant degrades slowly over time due to the factors already discussed, plus others. You may see a more rapid degradation on horizontal surfaces due to greater direct sun/rain exposure than what the sides experience. Because of this you may find it necessary to apply a quick coat to the front/hood of the vehicle after a month or two. Again, this will depend on a lot of variables. You certainly don't want to wait until the wax is completely gone before reapplying.
