  • question about clay bar, scratch remover, carnuba

i purchased the clay bar kit and the additional bottle of cleaner wax for my black pickup. I was wondering when I could stick a scratch remover into the process, and also if I could do a carnuba (idk how to spell it) wax after the cleaner wax. the paint has many small scratches and swirls/spiderwebs.

If it was me I would do

    Clay bay
Scratch remover such as SwirlX or Scratch X
    Carnauba wax

The cleaner wax is a mix of a paint cleaner( scratch remover) and wax, but would not be as effective as doing a scratch remover and then a wax separately.

i have an abundance of cleaner wax im really just trying to decide to do cleaner wax or use the untouched bottle of nufinish scratch remover after the clay bar, then grab some gold class pure carnauba max or something similar

You could use the Nufinish scratch remover and then use Cleaner Wax as your LSP.

          No problem with that.

im sorry, LSP? (yea, im a noob)

and the definition of lsp might answer this, but could i put an additional coat of pure carnauba on even after the scratch remover and cleaner wax??

LSP is Last Step Protectant (or Product, depending on the person). LSP is a wax or sealant. And yes, you can put a carnauba on top of the cleaner wax.
