I use UQW on my windows. It leaves a Rain-X type finish that enables wiperless driving in the rain, and makes them so beautifully shiny.
If a tree falls in the forest and there's nobody there to record the event, how can you be certain that there was a tree or even a forest to begin with?
I still have 2 bottles of Rain-X but I found it so hard to apply.
It depends
I wish I could give a more concrete answer, but there are so many variables when it comes to the durability of waxes and sealants that it's impossible to give a real answer.
If the vehicle is parked outside 24/7, the wax will wear faster. If the vehicle is parked outside in poor environmental conditions, the wax will wear faster. If the vehicle is parked inside a parking garage, it may wear faster dependent on dust levels and consequent wipe downs.
See what I mean?

I use quik detailer a lot.Just a bit of laziness as i'm already using it on the car.But I like it as it doesn't interfere with wiper operation. It does give some water repelling capabilities, but not like rainX.
I've used Cleaner Wax, X-Press wax and UQW on my windows. The first two worked just fine, but X-Press made the surface a bit too silky for my liking. I haven't had a chance to see how well the UQW works on my windows in the rain yet, but I'm prepared to be blown away.
I have used UQD/UQW and RainX all with no problems. Other people have lots of problems. So, if it is differences in glass, application, or whatever, just be aware.
As far as RainX, it is always hard if you follow the directions.
Much better to clay the glass, then clean with Nxt Glass Cleaner, etc. Then apply the RainX. Let sit for a bit, then buff off with a damp cloth, and dry with a dry cloth.

I didnt find rain-x to be hard to put on at all, I followed the directions and it was easy. I damped my cloth with rain-x then applied it to the windows let it haze over then buff out with a dry cloth.
