  • How to do full step washing??

    Hello guys
I've read through the form and found 5 step washing.
I wonder if anyone could clarify those steps for me please??

1- Jet water the entire car, rub the surface with ur hands.
2 - Shampoo your car...(What should I use to rub with the surfaces?)
3 - Dry the car with microfiber cloth.
4 - Clay the surfaces, using quik detailer as lubricant.
5 - Then use cleaner wax to clean the surface (Is this the polishing process? What should I use to apply this and whip it out?)
6 - Then wax the car.
7 - again wipe the surface with quik detailer

I'm I missing anything or making any mistake
Please help me, im kind new to this stuff
If im missing any please add them

    Thanks in advance
    Cheers!~~~

1- Jet water the entire car, rub the surface with ur hands. ( Don't rub your hands on the surface.)
2 - Shampoo your car...(What should I use to rub with the surfaces?)(A microfiber sponge.)
3 - Dry the car with microfiber cloth.( A quaility microfiber cloth.)
4 - Clay the surfaces, using quik detailer as lubricant.( Correct.)
5 - Then use cleaner wax to clean the surface (Is this the polishing process?( I would you the clay before this step.) What should I use to apply this and whip it out?)(Use a microfiber towel.)
6 - Then wax the car. ( Polish first if you want to apply it then wax.)
7 - again wipe the surface with quik detailer (I usually don't do that. But it won't hurt to do so. Just make sure you use a clean microfiber towel.)

Thanks cobalt2006 for your great reply!

Still have a bit more question.....
        What's actually the polish process?
        - What product are we using in this process?
        - What is used to apply that product?
        - What is used to wipe it out?

The Meguiars's 5 step paint car cycle is not that good
It's not clear in details, for instance the product which is used, the applications method, etc.

        Looking forwards for replies...
        Cheers~~

Moved to Detailing 101 as the "How-To" section is not for new posts
