  • Help finishing the unfinished

its been two weeks already since I have done done any detailing on my car.
When I first started, I clayed everything. I started working on the all the fenders and door panels. I used UC and polished and put two coats of wax on it. So, I guess you could say they are done. Now, I still gotta do the hood, trunk and the roof. I am guessing that I should prolly clay again and start like i would have when i was going doing it the first time? Since I did the fenders and door pannels a few weeks ago. what can I do to touch them up so it all looks the same.

If you clayed everything, they still should be pretty good after 2 weeks.

You should wash though before starting of course, and some UQD/UQW on the previously done parts should freshen them back up.

And espeacially UQW after future washes will evn everything up.

      Pretty much as above.

Your side panels should still be good. After you wash you can check with the palm of your hand again, but I doubt that they would need anything.Just check the condition of the upper surfaces for bonded contamination.

You should be okay without claying. After you wash, you could put a ziploc on your hand and run your hand over the hood. If it is still smooth, start your correction work. If it is rough, then you should clay.
