I just bought an 09 Chevy Equinox that has chrome wheels.I have never had a car with them and was wondering what the best way to safely clean them and keep them looking their best. Any suggestions?

Re: chrome wheel care
As long as you are keeping up with regular washes you should be good to use the normal soap and a soft brush or wash mitt to clean them when you wash the car.
If you go two weeks or more between washes you will likely want to use a product like this:to wash them. Make sure to rinse thoroughly after use.
Then follow that with this chrome polish:
That should do the trick!

Re: chrome wheel care
Congrats on the new ride. I would add. Never clean chrome wheels when they are hot. Dry them fairly quicky after washing to avoid hard water stains. You should get a soft rim brush, heck I have three of them all different sizes, but I own threee cars and all have different types of rims. I use a powerball mini to apply the chrome polish and hit it up with wheel wax. I also clean behind the rim where the brake caliber sits, this may be a bit much for you, but then again, I'm car crazy.2011 335i M Sport Coupe
