  • Any D130 Body Solvent Users?

Anyone have any experience with D130 Body Solvent? Looking for something to pretreat the rocker panels with and to help with the bugs too. I don't think this product is intended for bugs but how does it work on tar and road grime.

    Thanks!

I've used quite a bit of it. The key is to let it set for a while. If not, it doesn't seem to help as much.

Lately, I've been using Citri-Gel to help loosen the bugs. It's quite thick, so it stays where you spray it.

I have used it a couple times with good results. You have to let it dwell a bit. This way worked for me.

I was kinda disappointed with it (duh I didnt read the instructions and follow advises from Mike Phillips LOL) but after retrying the product and letting it dwell (which is necessary), it worked out just fine.

Spray it on the surface dry, and let it sit for a while and it works great. However I don't suggest using it with ONR as it is very hard to completely rinse off if using ONR.

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

          I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
          Remove swirls my friends.

Every time I clean a car with bugs on it, I regret not ordering this stuff. I always forget to order a gallon of it.

Thanks guys! I mostly do ONR washes so I'm not sure if it's the answer for me. If I do end up using it I'm make sure to let it dwell.

Has anyone used it with a foam gun? I would think that would be a good way to let it cling to the paint and sit....but does it sud @ all?

Why don't you just get a sample size from ADS? This way your not out the gallon if it does not perform that well with onr.

To order a sample from ADS is about $400!

Oh trust me, that's what it would end up costing me! I'm weak, I have no will power. The Flex has been tempting me again.
