  • after waxing, QD?

ive read on here that a lot of people after they wax a car as the final step they use a QD (m34, QD, or UQD). but i was just wondering, does this take away any protection of the wax? i have all of the 3 listed above and i just found out (reading on here) that QD doesnt have any protection with it, but UQD does, what about m34? should one of those be used as a finishing touch? what about QW or UQW? since QD doesnt have protection and helps cleans by lubricating, does it remove wax?

also, i have 1 customer (just started this business up and hopefully to get more ) that wants me to wash her car every other weekend and wax every 6-8 weeks, could i use m34 (being cheaper than all the others) each wash and keep the car properly protected and beading? on MY cars i used UQW each wash (every week), but if i can use m34 on a customers car and have it protect (at least not remove any wax and keep it beading) then i would do that. any thoughts? i dont want any of the sprays to make the car LOOK good for a day or so, but then have it take the wax off. ive only really used the quick detailers for when i either get to a car show/meet or when i wash/wax one day and then finish waxing the next day and i used it to get it cleaned without washing.

In most cases, it is best to let the wax sit for 12 hours or so before getting it wet, messing with it.

Last touch would be cheaper than M34.

Any of the detailers are good after washing.I tend to find they keep the car feeling slick.

I usually like to wait for 12 hours. But sometimes the situation warrants using a qd.

              Re-read Murr and J.A..

I have found that if you use a QD after was removal, you will shorten the durability of the wax in a BIG way. Wait 12 hours beforing using a QD.
