  • Product Question

I see people talking about M80 and other numbered products like that I was wondering what that line is. I am on familiar with the Ultimate lines as well as the nxt 2.0. What is the other line for? I want to get the best results and I like to use a Rotary buffer and I hear people telling me I can't use UC with a rotary. What should I use I know nothing of the other line. I just feel like I can get a better result using a Rotary over the tradition hand and pad. I won't use the Rotary for Wax I will only use it for Compounds and things like that.

If someone could explaine to me what is what I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks,

    Jason

    Re: Product Question

Meguiars also makes a Detailer Line, and a Professional Mirror Glaze Line, in addition to the Consumer and Marine Line products.

Many of the products in the Pro Line are meant to be used by rotary. The Consumer Line products are more meant for hand/DA application.

Thanks for the quick response... So I take it the M line is for Mirror Glaze and that's the professional line correct?

          Re: Product Question

In a nutshell, our Mirror Glaze Professional Line is comprised of a full line of polishes, cleaner/polishes, cleaners and compounds geared for use in the auto body, OEM and professional detailing industries. Most of the products are formulated for use with a rotary buffer and most of them are considered to be paintable, body shop safe products meaning they are safe for use in an environment where fresh paint is being sprayed. In many cases, such as M105 Ultra Cut Compound, a product can be used via rotary, D/A or hand, but in other cases such as M85 Diamond Cut Compound 2.0, the product is designed solely for rotary use.

If your preference is for rotary work then you really want to select products from the Mirror Glaze line. If you'd like to PM me with your mailing address I'd be happy to send you our 2009 Professional Catalog so you can have information on the full lineup at your fingertips.
