When should you throw out a foam applicator pad?

Last weekend I applied some gold class liquid wax by hand with a foam applicator pad. Should I toss it after one use? Can I clean it and use it again the next time I apply gold class liquid wax, which should be in a few months?

Just clean the pad out with some Dawn, rinse it well, and let it dry.

You get a lot of life out of these.Just wash,dry and reuse.
