  • flatting and polishing

hi all ive been a valeter since 1978, i was a demonstator for auto glym and have detailed many vehs in my time.
i have resently come back into the detailing world after a ten year absence and found paint and prouducts have changed,i am interested in flat and polishing as i work for a lower scale dealership ie high class vehs but not well cared for.
i have in my time trained many young guys who have success full careers but cant ask the questions off them (pride)
    any help

Hi rick.I was talking about autoglym in a recent post nearby.I used to use it aswell.Good stuff, but I think Meg's has a better selection to choose from.I personally prefer the finish that Meguiar's gives.

Anyway, what is it you need to know...Meguiar's product lines?,Consumer and/or Professional?

Flattening to me sounds like the same term as polishing/paint cleaning in the sense that you're flattening down the paint to the level of the defect.

Hmmm, flatting. Isn't that what happens to you after you fall from a really high spot?
