Just to clarify Ultimate Compound is the most aggressive cleaner in the consumer line , then is it SwirlX next in line , then Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner then ScratchX 2.0 ? The reason I am asking is because I have seen several threads or posts that have SwirlX and ScratchX 2.0 in reverse order. Anyhow which has more cut then? Thanks in advance for your answers.

Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner would go after #80, but it's being discontinued.

        Just to note:

M09 and M82 are less aggressive than M80 as well.

From what I've read, your paint finish is on the hard side,so either you'll need to work some more or move up to a more aggressive one.

Did you work quite hard with the scratchX 2.0?

You can only find out how hard or soft a paint finish is by going out and start by working on it.

I wouldn't disagree with you there.I'm just going by what the majority of users have said in the past and at least one moderator.

At the end of the day,it's up to the user to use the rule of thumb and a bit of common sense.

Yes, how you applied the product is also important. If you just wipe around the product a bit, none of them will do much.

I did put a lot of passion or pressure on working it in but it doesnt quite remove all the swirls so I may try using UC which I just picked up this evening. Thanks Eddie for the info on my paint on the hard side.

How did you find the scratchX2.0 worked?

Did it do something to improve?

If it was working, you could keep at it.Working by hand is hard work.

You asked in an earlier thread about the Honda Civic that went wrong with the UC. Do a test spot first to see how it works. What I don't understand with that particular situation is why the person kept going all over his car if he knew something wasn't right?

Take your time, you've had good success so far...
