As far as the waffle weave.. I've read a few things through different sites where people love the WW towel from Pak Shak. I'm going to give that a whirl since it had some really good reviews.

Depending on how bad your interior is, you might want to get an interior cleaner along with your dressing/protectant. Megs QID is great when you want a clean, natural looking dash. Also, Megs APC+ 10:1 makes very easy work of really dirty interiors, if you're in that boat.

Quik detailer....No investigating.You need to use this with the claying.

UQD is not intended for claying.

SwirlX is the least aggressive
ScratchX 2.0 is in the middle
Ultimate Compound is the most aggressive out of these three.

If your swirls are light,you'll probably only need one of the first two.

If anything, I think you would want SwirlX and UC on our shelf. I'd probably skip the ScratchX 2.0.

I second the motion for M40 or natural shine for your interior. Won't be greasy and looks nice. You can use the M40 on your exterior trim and tires as well but it is water-based so it won't last long on outside surfaces. For wax I would suggest NXT 2.0 liquid wax. Easy on, easy off, and it looks very good. Just remember to put it on thin!

As far as swirlx/scratchx/ultimate compound are concerned they have different levels of abrasiveness and each will have a place on your shelf depending on how much you need to work your paint. The rest (microfibers, car wash, glass cleaner) looks good! The only thing I see missing for a basic detail are products to clean and dress your tires. A long handled brush for the wheel wells, a short handled brush for the tires and wheels, and a spoke brush to get inside the wheel drum will treat you right and you can use your car wash solution to clean everything there. There are tons of tire dressings out there and it all comes down to personal preference on how shiny you want them.

Okay,But I always just buy the clay kit,because I use nearly a full bottle of QD to do a car anyway.Use plenty lube!!

You should be able to get the NXT Tech wax 2.0 in liquid as opposed to the paste.

You'll get on fine there.

I want to stick with the paste as that is what I've always used in the past. And yea.. I should probably just pick up the clay kit agian.. MF, QD, and 2 clay bars. Can't go wrong with that...
