I've had my 2010 Mustang for 6 weeks, candy red metalic clearcoat. Should I wait for a period of time before waxing a new car?

Re: New car care?
Nope. You can wax it right away. The only time you have a waiting period is if the car just got repainted. However, with the process they use in the factory there is no "cure time", so you can wax whenever you want to.
By the way,to MOL!

Re: New car care?
You might consider claying your new car, too, before applying the wax. I recent purchased a new car ("Ripley Unveiled") and was shocked to see how much junk the claybar removed.
