  • What protectent for SEM color coat?

For those who don't know: color coat is a coating for plastics & vinyl.

I've finally got a SWEET looking dash, from gray to flat black.
What product would be good for all of the coated/dyed panels?
I'm sure QID would be safe but I love M40's smell.

You can use whatever you want to. I dyed a couple of panels in my car with SEM color coat and I just use whatever protectant I'm using in the rest of the car, which in my case would be Supreme Shine. But you can use M40, QID, Natural Shine, or whatever.

M40 is not really for paint, stick with QID

I use M40 on my SEM Classic Coat painted gauge pod. Works fine for me and makes it look like the rest of the dash. Using any dressing though, will leave the dash more than flat-looking however. QID would keep the flat black look.
