  • Scratch-X 2.0

ok guys, so i have a new bottle of Scratch-X 2.0 i bought a few weeks ago and yesterday my mom bought a 2007 Nitro which has a minor to almost moderate (can barely feel with end of fingernail) ANYWAY, my question is, what or how do i apply to scratch x 2.0 to try and remove if not greatly reduce the scratch.

i searched for a how-to of it but only found a how-to for 1.0, which is nothing like 2.0

Please help me guys, i want to try and impress my mom with my skillz on her new car!

I've used it. I think it works well provided you are not trying to remove too deep of a scratch.

I simply used a yellow Meg's foam applicator and put plenty of passion behind the pad. I would go over the affected area with several passes (up and down and left to right).

After wiping off (you don't let it dry), I inspect my results. I've had to apply it up to 4 times to get the desired results. Other's have used a terry cloth or MF applicator, but I have not tried that yet.

    Hope this helps.

It still needs applied somewhat the same way as the old stuff, such as small area, spread it around, then work it in.

It should work faster, and with less effort, but the overall idea is the same.

start out by applying the product onto the whole scratch, that way there is uniform coverage of the product.

I like to start out with circular motions, then up and down, and then across. Just be sure your putting passion behind the pad. Work it in for about 45 seconds, and do two or three more applications if the first one does not give you the desired result. Also keep in mind how deep the scratch is.
