Closed garage door - parked too close, smacked hood. Could this be buffed out or does it need to be repainted?

Hey,
It is hard to tell from the pictures just how deep the marks really are. Can you feel them with your fingernail? If not, then it may be possible to have these buffed out by someone experienced in using a rotary buffer.
Even if all of the marks are not removed, they will be at least softened, and not quite so noticable.

Thanks for the reply, there are only a couple gouges that obviously will need some filler/touch up paint but the rest seems to be pretty smooth as you run your finger over it. Im getting a friend that has a friend at a dealership detail shop to check it out for me next week1992 Eclipse GSTComment
