Yeah, ScratchX was in the link, but the link is like a year or two old. But that is kind of how you want to apply the products, working them in some.

You would want UC, followed up by SwirlX.

      UC then SwirlX, gotcha.

I'll probably be playing around more with my fiance's '04 Celica GT but it has less problems so I'll probably just stick with SwirlX

Certainly do the test spot with SwirLX on hers first.

It was just a safe bet you would want UC first....

With my truck, how long would you recommend "sitting" on the product for? I only rubbed it around for maybe 15-20 seconds before wiping it off....

Well... about 45 seconds is reasonable. Hopefully you could tell from the video that some passion/presure is being put into it as well, not just 'rubbing'.

UC will be similar to #105, so be sure to read through that thread, Mike has a few tips in there.

Gotcha. I do recall watching the video of the ScratchX demonstration and he wasn't moving his hands in a swirl type motion, should that be transfered over to UC as well?

You can work the product in any way you like.

But at least with the UC on the bad spots, you will probably find you can put more effort behind the pad just focusing on back and forth.

Same truck, different compounds. All still done by hand too.

                      Dirty - prewash.

                      Wheels pre-shine and post

                      Hood before M105/M205 combination

                      Taped off and started.

                      50/50

                      Before compound reflection.

                      After compound reflection

                      Some afters completed

very nice job, looks like you did a great amount of correction by hand.

Almost 100%, I ran out of time though to finish the rest of the hood. Probably going to finish it tomorrow or Thursday morning.

Nice truck, and excellent results by hand!
