  • NXT 2.0 and #26 question.

    Hey guys,

I want to get the ultimate shine out of my 2007 Acura TSX's Carbon Gray Pearl Paint. Would I be better off waxing it with NXT 2.0 and then topping it with #26, or should I just use a paint cleaner and then directly apply #26?

Also, I have a few isolated swirl scratch marks on my hood. They're VERY subtle, and hard to notice - the sun has to hit them just right. Anyway, if I take my G-100 with a W8006 pad and Swirl X, apply it to my hood and nothing else on the car, will the hood look funny? What's the best way to fix these? I tried Swirl X with hand, and it's nto working, I'm thinking I need the DA to do this...

    Thanks guys!

For best shine, I would want 2 coats of Nxt 2.0, with the proper paint prep of course (clay/cleaning).

As far as the SwirlX, go for it. At worst, you'll end up doing the whole car to even things out and make it look even better.

Does anyone know if I could top Duragloss #105 (Cleaner, polish, protectant all in one step) with NXT 2.0?

        Sure can.

I use Nxt over cleaner/waxes often.

          I don't see why you couldn't.
