Question about Hydrophobic NXT 2.0 and UQD

Hello, I have several questions to ask to the member of the forum. Thank you for your answers and help.

1. Can I use NXT 2.0 wax on my windshield and windows? I use UQD on my windshield and windows and the hydrophobic is nice, but it gets foggy outside after the rain. I tried last touch, and it gets foggy less after the rain.

2. Can I use NXT 2.0 wax with Last Touch as the quik detailer after wash? I have UQD but I am concerning Last Touch as an option since last touch is a lot cheaper when I bought it.

3. It is written that I can dilute Last touch up to 1:1. With what kind of water? mineral dringking water? H20?

Meguiar's does NOT recommend any of our paint care products for use on glass. One of the reasons is the reason you pointed out and that's the potential for fog or haze on the surface which could block your view and create a dangerous situation.

There are glass specific products on the market like RainX.

2. Can I use NXT 2.0 wax with Last Touch as the quik detailer after wash? I have UQD but I am concerning Last Touch as an option since last touch is a lot cheaper when I bought it.

Yes. You can mix and match any of our paint care products across lines with no compatibility issues.

You can mix our LT with whatever kind of water you have available as long as it's clean to start with.

Due to the fact that I live in a area with very hard water. Lately I have been using distilled water for mixing product. As opposed to tap water. It seems to have worked. I like the results using this method.

I, as well, prefer to use distilled water when diluting. It's just my nature. Pretty cheap at a dollar a gallon too.

If just mixing one bottle of something, a Brita would be ok probably.

Mmmm, I use NXT 2.0 and UQD on my windows all the time. I've never had a problem with fogging.

A little overspray usually finds its way onto my passenger & rear windows when I use UQD or spray wax after my weekly washes, and that's been fine for me, but boy do you not want that stuff to get on your windshield.

When it rains and I use the wipers, they streak across the glass, which really inhibits my ability to see out the windshield. Using the windshield sprayer has no effect in reducing the haze, either.

(In my experience), no ill-effects with the spray waxes getting on the passenger windows like I said, but by all means, keep it away from the windshield .

Thank you Mike and friends for your responses..
I'll just mix LT with a clean drinking water..

fog or dew on my windshield happens after the rain or just drizzle. It is really annoying for me because although I wipe it with my wiper, the fog or dew are on my windshield again. So, lately I didn't spray any UQD on my windshield, just LT, it came up pretty nice. The water wiped easier as UQD does..

It happens to me once when there were kind of glue or sticky things on my windshield with UQD after I wiped with wiper during a light rain. It was sticky, but it happened once. But the haze, it always happen with UQD, or even just at night without rain but cool or cold night..

I've heard people on the forum mentioning wax on winscreens.My personal view is not to apply wax on windows,where there are wipers.I do use the old QD,though and it works fine.
