      I didn't know the backing plate that came with the G110 was smaller/inferior...

      Damn, now I need to dish out more for the new one.

      How big are these plates? The manual says not to use anything over 5"...

        Not sure how big they are but the W68 backing plate will work better with the 2.0 pads.

        The W67 works but just not as well with the new 2.0 pads.

          I'm so disappointed now...

          It won't damage the pads or deform them if I use the W67 plate will it?

          I notice my pads are sort of "caving in" to the plate...

            I use the Softbuff 2.0 Polishing and Finishing pads with the W67 backing plate and I have not seen any problems with the pads.

            Keep in mind that the W68 is designed specifically for the 2.0 pads. But the W67 will do just fine.
