  • Compound 2.0 and NXT Tech WAX 2.0

    Hi All,

    Just a clarification.

    I recently brought this

And I used this on My VIVA with followed by Next Gen TECH WAX 2.0{Paste} is it safe on my paint? This product has given an amazing shine on my vehicle and Most of the hair line scratch was hidden but to my surprise the next day it rained heavily and I wash my car daily now the look of ma ride has come back to normal dull look, Am I doing something wrong here?

Can you please advise on this please.

How did you apply the M85?

Besides that question, M85 is part of a multi-step buffing process primarily for fresh paint.

In most cases you would never buff with M85 and go to wax, instead after buffing with a very aggressive cutting compound with a foam or wool cutting pad on a rotary buffer you would then follow this step with one or two more polishing steps using less aggressive products, less aggressive pads and less aggressive tool.

So how did you apply the M85?

      Hey Mike,fficeffice" />

      Thanks once again.

Well firstly I applied M85 using a Rotatory Buffer with RPM set to 2.0, I applied the M85 in circular motion on the wool pad and started off on the body of my car then I left it to dry for some time and then I started to rub it off with MICRO FIBRE CLOTH (While rubbing from the cloth I Get this small round balls in grey color I guess the waste once come out) after that it leaves with a nice shine I apply Tech Was 2.0 with applicator pad and rub on the surface in circular motion and then use the machine with soft sponge on it and later on use the MICRO FIBRE CLOTH to take of the rest of the wax and it gives extra shine and smoothens the body.

All these things I am Experimenting on the body of the car. All my friends and family members are appreciating the way my car looks but still somewhere from inside I feel I am going somewhere wrong So I Google a lot and get different tips from different people but Still since I am using the world’s best Product that is MEGUIAS’s I want the best of knowledge from you guys.

Mike if you can just let me know what I am supposed to do It will be a great help from you guys.

      Regards,
      Maddy.

Looks like you're typing in some kind of Microsoft program and then copying and pasting into the forum? Be careful, the hidden code in the Microsoft program can cause all kinds of problems when our forum software tries to import it and then display it.

First, the only Meguiar's paint care products that should ever be allowed to dry are our waxes and paint sealants, everything else you wipe off right away. Check out this thread,

Which products need to dry before removing?

Second, you need to get some foam buffing pads and some M205 Ultra Finishing Polish and after buffing with the M85 re-buff out the entire car using a foam pad and the M205.

Actually, M105 will give you better results then M95 if you can get this product.

You also want to try to get a DA Polisher of some type because it's pretty hard to create a 100% swirl-free finish using only a rotary buffer.

This is caused by the hidden code,
