No,as murr said it will not remove swirls. I did manage to take off some light scuffing with it,and a couple of light scratches with a lot of work and waste of material.
Batmobile, Deep Crystal Polish is a nonabrasive "pure polish." It may add a touch of wetness and gloss to a well-prepped surface. Meguar's considers the application of a pure polish as optional. See:Meguiar's 5-Step Paint Care Cycle.
Depending on the condition of your paint, you may go directly from washing to waxing, but if you desire to remove swirls and scratches, then you will need to introduce a cleaning/polishing step (SwirlX, Ultimate Compound) between washing and waxing. The purpose of this step is to abrasively level the paint surface, thereby removing swirls and scratches and improving the optical clarity and gloss of the paint.
You can do this by hand (hard, time-consuming work) or by machine polisher (also hard work, at least for me). But the cleaning/polishing step is what creates significant improvement in the paint finish.
Swirls hide in the black molecular depths, only waiting for the right time to emerge and destroy your sanity.

I do have a lot of Meguiar's products and DA, but haven't try Deep Crystal polish though.. I thought it would be nice to have one, but now I think it is not required anymore..
I have 83 and 80, can I use 80 very often? every 2 months for example?
