Different product to scratchX 2.0?

I've tried using ScratchX 2.0 on my GF's Vauxall Tigra with not much success. I was wondering if there is another product out their that has a stronger cutting ability than ScratchX?

Would UC work or is this less? I seem to remember seeing a chart from least to most but I'm unable to locate it.

UC is more aggressive than ScratchX 2.0

I had the same problem with my particular paint and ScratchX, old & 2.0. What I did was use UC with my new DA and it made me happy beyond words. Very good stuff and it cuts more than ScratchX, very fast, and finishes very nice. I just did my rear horizontals with two apps of UC and couldn't believe the amazing results on the old neglected paint! It was followed with Deep Crystal pure polish and NXT Tech 2 and looks totally awesome!

UC is the next more aggressive cleaner and it is my dream come true. I do not see how it can miss for you!

Today was spent using UC (two apps) on my trunk lid/rear fender tops with a new DA polisher, where ScratchX & ScratchX 2.0 had been previously used by hand and DA but did not remove the cloudiness and major defects. My experience is that UC is nothing at all like ScratchX because it quickly eliminated all cloudiness and scratches in two apps. It works very fast and easy. A test area showed that the second app was a further improvement. It looks great now. That was followed by a coat of Deep Crystal 2 pure polish and two coats of NXT Tech Wax 2, all by DA and the results are very good.

I am not a real experienced detailer and speak only of my personal experience. If you look under 'Detailing 101' in the 'Stickies' on top, you can find lots of product info. Hope this helps.

IMHO, DA is the only way to fly. I would not have waited so long to get one had I known what an amazing job they can do with cleaning, polishing and waxing. My results with the DA are way beyond anything I could have done by hand over any amount of time. Get one and you will love it!
