  • what is enough water pressure using pressurized water?

need your opinion on what is too much water pressure. I personally like using a pressure almost you can still tap your hands on the pressure of the water coming out of the nozzle.

I like it like this because this is the first thing that can take off the dirt off your car and wheels and help reduce swirl marks when you use your wash mitt. The sacrifice might be your protective wax.

    Any ideas?

I used to work at a detail shop and all we used was a pressure washer, but we washed by hand. I'm not sure of the PSI, but I know it was very high. When doing tires, underbody, bedliners, and wheelwells, it is helpful to have really high pressure. Moderate pressure is also good for doing engines. As far as the rest of the vehicle, lower pressure is probably best. If you can touch the spray of water with your hands and it doesn't sting too much I'm sure your fine with that. Hope this helps.
