  • Spray detailers and waxes

Again I'm being overwhelmed by the massive amount of great Megs products. lol.
I want to fully understand the purpose and correct usage for each one.
Let me know if I get this right, have some questions listed--

Ultimate Quik Detailer= Grime/light dust & dirt removal spray PLUS a synthetic wax enhancing spray. Making this a two-in-one product? (For use on sealant/synthetic wax protected finish only?)

Ultimate Quik Wax= Synthetic spray wax enhancer for use between regular wax applications (Use on synthetic wax protected finishes only?)

NXT Gen Spray Wax= same as above, only in the specific NXT Gen formula

Quik Detailer= Grime/light dust & dirt removal spray (safe to use on Carnauba wax AND synthetic wax protection?)

Quik Wax= Carnauba wax enhancing spray for use between regular wax application (Safe to use on Carnauba wax AND synthetic wax protection?)

I guess one of my main questions is: Can you mix and match any detailing spray/spray wax for use with any type of wax protection...or do you need to use specific spray products in conjunction with the type of base wax protection that you use (i.e. Carnauba or Synthetic/sealant)?

Does this make sense? Hope so. Sorry

    Re: Spray detailers and waxes

quik detailers are used for removing light dust, fingerprints, smudges etc. A spray wax should be used after washing the car or wiping it down with a quik detailer.

So basically, a spray wax should only be used on a clean surface.

Ultimate Quik Detailer is a spray detailer that contains Hydrophobic Polymer Technology found in NXT 2.0. You could use it on top of any wax if you like, whether its a carnauba or synthetic.

UQW is kind of like a booster wax, you should use it on a car that currently has a good coat of wax on it, and as stated us after the car is clean.

Quik Detailer is a great spray detailer, clay lube and can be used over your existing wax.

You can mix and match your detailing sprays, spray waxes and regular liquid/paste waxes.

      Re: Spray detailers and waxes

Yeah, as far as car care is concerned, here would be my 3 products from your list, no matter which other waxes, etc you use...

      1. Quick Detailer - For claying.

      2. UQD - For bird dropping removal, etc.

      3. UQW - After the car is washed.

Of course, some products, if you find you use a lot, can sometimes be found in bulk.
