  • Another Interior Question

Do any of the Meg's interior products leave that horribly greasy, slippery residue all over like the Armor All? I really want to get some products to use on the interior since I seem to have the exterior covered. Right now I just use a damp MF towel to clean the radio screen, steering column, gauge cluster, etc.

Also, what's recommended? I'm not sure if I want to go with the NXT or the QID. Would I need one of the vinyl and rubber protectants if I used either the NXT or the QID? Thanks.

EDIT: I'm not trying to knock the Armor All products, some may like the shine, I just prefer everything I touch isn't greasy.

In my experience none of the megs products Ive used have been greasy at all. You can pick up some M40 which leaves a nice inbetween shine and has a little cleaning ability. Or you can pick up some supreme shine or natural shine from any auto store. I always like to apply with an applicator and then follow up with a clean micro-fiber and have no problem with a greasy finish this way.

For the radio screen and such, you could use some quick interior detailer if needed but really a damp micro-fiber towel will do fine, you just dont want any chemicals getting into the electronics.

Well, the QID is a light cleaner that leaves some UV protection behind.

Using an actual dressing would get you more protection.

I just tried the Supreme Shine Protectant, and after letting it sit then wiping off excess, it seems bone dry.

I think I may go for the QID for now and see what I think about it. Thanks for the replies.
