Different Foam pads - what's the difference?

Hey guys,

What's the difference between Meguiars yellow foam pad, and the purple ones that come with NXT 2.0? Does one have more bite than the other? Can they both be used to apply waxes, sealants, polishes, etc?

Are you talking about pads used with a DA or the small ones used by hand?

color, I'm sure there's no differance.

I'm looking at them both side to side and other than the color they seem to feel and look the same. Yes you can use them both for the uses you listed. But i always seem to use the purples for LSPs and the yellows for polishes.

I think Mike Phillips said they were the same except for the color.

As far as I can tell there is no difference between them at all besides the color, I will look and see if I cant find a reference for you
