  • 'Quik Wax'

Hi Everyone,i've always been happy with the results i get from Meguiar's products. The Only and i mean Only product that didn't work for me was quik wax.It might be replaced now anyway by ultimate quik wax.Did anyone else use this and find it to be the same?

I use to use "Quik Wax". It complemented whatever I used before like DC3, GC etc.

I used it once. Didn't really care for it, so I returned it. UQW is the bomb!

Hi Tuck and Ciera,It's amazing how some products work for some and not for others.I tended to find that it didn't just wipe off as stated.I also tried it on top of my step3.I tried it 2 or 3 times. No joy.It works well on my scale models though!I love quik detailer.Havn't tried uQD yet though.just can't get the goods here!

never used the first quick wax but the ultimate quick wax is awesome! In reality though like Tuck said, it will really boost whatever you use it over like NXT or such

I did not like the Quick Wax and Nxt Speed Wax... UQD replaced those.

But UQW is just so nice....

Never used quick wax. But I am sure it is a great product. You were probably not using it properly.

Try Ultimate Quik Wax and Ultimate Quik Detailer

              They are both amazing products.

Can't find them here! It's normal to asume someone didn't use a product properly.I can assure you i tried.Firstly by following the instructions, and when that didn't work, other methods. For me the product came cloudy. In strong sunlight it left a lot of smears.Bear in mind, this is supposed to be quick wax:mist and wipe off.

I'm sure the new stuff is much better!

                  Re: 'Quik Wax'

Bought one bottle of Quik Wax. Seemed to kill beading / sheeting effect from the LSP on the car. I now use it occasionally for the bath as it's not very slippery.

I use both Quik Wax and Tech Wax. In strong sunlight, I did not notice and smears. For me, the noticeable different between the 2 is 1 beads and 1 does not.
