  • Wax with DA question

I just waxed my 96 Olds Cutlass with NXT the other day by hand but next time I hope to be doing it with a DA. I think I read that it's recommended to let the wax dry to a haze or 15 minutes, but on the Meguiar's youtube channel with Mike putting on the wax with the DA he just wipes it off after working it in and doesn't show it drying at all.

So after working the NXT in with the DA do you wipe it off immediatly or do I need to let it dry the same as if I was waxing by hand?

    Re: Wax with DA question

Wait at least half an hour to let it dry. The reason they don't show it drying is because no one wants to watch half an hour of the wax drying haha. Do a finger swipe test to see if the wax is ready to be removed. Use your DA on speed 3 too!

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

    I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
    Remove swirls my friends.
