quick question... should i be applying the product to a dry pad or should it be damp ?

I like to my moisten my applicators (just a light squrt of instant detailer) so you do not have a dry applicator rubbing against paint. It glides better initially for me.Al

really not just water .. wouldnt you be mixing the detailer with the product you are using then ?Comment

You need to prep the pad with Quick Detailer or UQD.Comment

I normally give a quick squirt with some QD, but I don't do that with an LSP. I'm pretty sure you aren't supposed to "prime" the pad with QD when using a LSP.
I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.
I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
Remove swirls my friends.Comment
