    quick question... should i be applying the product to a dry pad or should it be damp ?

    I like to my moisten my applicators (just a light squrt of instant detailer) so you do not have a dry applicator rubbing against paint. It glides better initially for me.

      really not just water .. wouldnt you be mixing the detailer with the product you are using then ?

        You need to prep the pad with Quick Detailer or UQD.

          I normally give a quick squirt with some QD, but I don't do that with an LSP. I'm pretty sure you aren't supposed to "prime" the pad with QD when using a LSP.

          I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

          I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
          Remove swirls my friends.
