  • Please Confirm the Wheel Polish

My Mag wheels are "clear coated" finish, so the question is: are these wheels cannot use "All metal Polish" for polishing?

If not, what do you suggest?

I checked with Mike Pennington, our Director of Training on what NXT Generation All Metal Polysh can be used on.

I asked him if it could be used on Chrome and Clear Coated Polished Metal and he "Yes", while I was with him I also asked him if the new NXT Generation All Metal Polysh was a better choice for neglected, oxidized aluminum and to this he also said, "Yes".

One thing you want to be careful with when using any polishing product is your application material, make sure it is of high quality and not scratchy to start with.

I'm pretty sure this applied to the Gold Class All Metal Polish as well.

I apologize for my initial wrong answer. Never in a million years would I have though to polish a coated wheel. How do you polish a wheel if it is clear coated? Wouldn't you simply be polishing the clear coat? Also, how does this not remove the coating on the wheel?
