    Re: Autox Sticker Residue

Having used a bunch of different stuff to remove adhesive from auto paint I have no problem saying that the 3M product I mentioned earlier is king IMO. Also, the 3M eraser wheel...think it's called a pin stripe removal wheel is also a great tool to have. I use both of those when removing moldings, decals, or emblems from cars/trucks.

I spent hours, literally, rubbing with thinner and WD-40 trying to remove double sided tape and sticky foam from my old truck after I took the moldings off. The eraser wheel and adhesive cleaner did the same job in minutes.

Never had any issues with GooGone on automotive paint. I tested on a single stage black paint, it did remove the adhesive and no transfers. Been wanting to get the 3M pin stripe removal wheel.

If you do molding removal or de-badge work it is worth it's weight in gold!

            Well,

Guess this would be a perfect time to do a side-by-side comparison. I'll document my experience with both items and its effectiveness to remove the sticky adhesive left by the autox decals. The customer did tell me he tried goo gone already but had limited affect.

Quick question. Where can I find plastic razor blades without buying them online?
