spray on bedliner on truck

I just bought a 1998 dakota that was re-painted like 6 years ago and since then it was never detailed. I guess the only thing they did with it was wash it once every three months with soap detergent.

I finished detailing it today, thanks god the paint was single stage and i was able to make it look acceptable.

Anyways since the paint looks good now, i am diverting my attention to other places like the bed.

The previous owner used a spray on bedliner on the bed, it is still in regular condition but whenever it rains it looks horrible, the water dries on it and makes water spots and dirt all over it.

Is there a product that i could apply to the bedliner in order to make it look better (darker) and that could make it look good for longer?

I'd suggest try spraying on some Hyper Dressing Diluted 4:1, letting it sit for an hour or so, then taking a terry cloth towel and soaking up any excess.

I'd probably say All Season Dressing, or Gold Class Trim Detailer. They will be a bit more durable, esp the ASD.

ASD and GC Trim Detailer will work, but my only hesitation would be that it could potentially get your truck bed somewhat greasy and that is why I suggested Hyper Dressing, which if 1:4 is too greasy you could dilute it further to 1:8

Try em both and see what you think, the only advantage I see with HD is its dilutability, but it won't last as long as the others though.

I never used Hyper Dressing, so can't comment.....

All Season Dressing should work good, just wipe it after applying so it's not too slick....

M40 may work too!

Here is another vote for All Season Dressing. Just wipe away any excess about 30 minutes or so after applying.

I have a bedliner in my Silverado, believe it or not, I think the best thing to do is wash with car wash soap and a brush.

Its a real pain to dress the liner and it leaves residue of the cloth/applicator you are using and its the one thing I hate whe it comes to detail my truck.
