  • Best Interior Cleaning for High Temperatures Storage

Oh man that ended up being a long title, sorry!

Anyway living in Arizona your car will get really hot in the sun, no surprise here. I, however, typically store my interior cleaning product/MF towels in my glove compartment. And this poses a problem for some products that say to store at temperatures XXX degrees, and some don't mention it but they turn weird in such extreme heats.

So my question is then, are any Meguiar's interior cleaning products safe to store at extremely high temperatures? If so which?

Also the same should apply for exterior Quick Detailers as I'd like to carry one in my drunk, but worry about the heat.

Have you ever seen those little solar powered fans that hook on to the top of your car window? That's what you need. My GF uses one and it's great. Only thing is the solar panel needs to be in direct sunlight for the fan to work.

If you got one of those i think you'd be in better shape. With that said, i keep a bottle of QID , QWD and LT in my truck 24/7 and so far it's been ok. I just shake em up really good before using them.

Nah those wouldn't help. It would be like a wind in an oven, still hot! Just blowing the heat around. lol

But good to know about those products being safe for you. Anyone else?

I want to bump this topic because I plan to put shelves up in the garage and want to store my Meguiar's products there but I don't want the extreme heat to affect them.

Can get to like 110 or so in the garage, even hotter when the engines are warm.

Are all Meguiar's products safe to store at high temperatures?

xantonin, what is up with your sunburst avatar? Is it moving or is that just an optical illusion? If I stare at it too long will it cause me to go into a petit mal seizure like those Japanese Anime cartoons were accused of doing in the mid 90's?

            LOL

I don't think it's moving. I just did a quick image search for "Shiny" and it came up, so I used it.

I mean, uhh.. You see, that's really a picture of my car after I get done detailing her. Bright isn't she?

Maybe you can put an ice chest in your car with some of those ice packs to keep your products a little cooler!

I can't say all Meg's products are safe for storage in high temps. But i can say i haven't had a single problem with ANY of the Meg's products i've bought, and they've been subjected to some crazy heat before.

If your garage has any sort of ventilation then there shouldn't be a problem. I know i'm not in the desert like you, but it still gets pretty hot out here in Cali.
