  • Recommendation: Soap/brush/hose all-in-one?

I've been cleaning my cars for the last few years using the hose sprayer/ brush/ two buckets methodology.

I'd like to save some time and get an all-in-one type washer where the hose plugs into the brush, and the soap gets applied as well all in one step.

Does anyone have any recommendations on a model that works well (or doesn't work well?)

I would not suggest using a brush to wash your car as it will instill swirls.

I would stick to using the two bucket method and a wash mitt. Trying to save time will only end up creating a bigger problem with lots of swirls in your paint.

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

    I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
    Remove swirls my friends.

The all-in-ones just are not a high enough quality brush.

One fellow used to use a foam gun, with a mitt over it, shooting the soapy water through the mitt.
