Hopefully someone can help with this ?. My dad has an 03 Dodge Ram 1500 and every year I detail it for fathers day. Now the question, The paint on the roof and doors has been coming off, The clear coat is gone. Now will polishing and waxing these spots do any good or will it be a waste of time and wax and polish! Any info would be great!!

well, you never know what you can do until you try.
At the very least it may improve a little bit but once CCF initiates the only true option is a repaint.Nick

I've done it before on the trunk lid of a car. It actually made it look better and even slowed down the peeling of CC. I don't want to say it stopped it from peeling, but it slowed it way down. That lasted for about a month then it slowly started to flake off again at it's usual rate.Alex C.Comment
