Re: Wheel*brightener
No you cannot use it on bare aluminum wheels. If they are clear coated aluminum then yes, but make sure there are absolutely no chips in the clear coat or it will mess up the wheels.
I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.
I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
Remove swirls my friends.

Re: Wheel*brightener
Meguiars APC then, would be my next go to, usally diluted 4:1, would be safe at 3:1 also. Very cheap for a gallon, I can get it locally for 13 dollars, works very well.Fergy-

Re: Wheel*brightener
there are also not going to be a whole lot of spray on, rinse off wheel cleaners out there that are safe on all wheels. I have had no luck finding any kind of cleaner that didn't need some type of agitation from a brush or two...IMOFergy-

1,2,10, a 100 uses.
Meg's APC really is an All Purpose Cleaner. I use it A LOT. On tires, rims, wheel wells, engine, undercarriage, carpet, headliners, steering wheels..... it goes on and on. I find a lot of uses for it around the house as well. It's good stuff.Alex C.
