Building on Todd's comment, it probably should also be noted that in Meguiar's parlance, the term wax is used to designate both "waxes" and "sealants." Why Meguiar's does this is explained in this article: Is it a wax? Or a paint sealant?Thus, e.g., NXT is described as a wax, even though it is composed exclusively of man-made ingredients. It's just a matter of linguistic usage.
I imagine, though, that our OP also wants to know the differences between waxes and sealants with regards to appearance and durability. I'll let others address those questions.
